Recommendation

btt button
A while ago, I interviewed my readers for a change, and my final question was, “What question have I NOT asked at BTT that you’d love me to ask?” I got some great responses and will be picking out some of the questions from time to time to ask the rest of you. Like now.

Bookish Sarah asks:

If someone asked you for a book recommendation, what is the FIRST book you’d think to recommend (without extra thought)?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

  2. I recommend based on what a person wants. Here’s a children’s book I highly recommend:

Reading is very personal, so a recommendation should be based on a person’s interests.

Here’s mine: Realms of an Open Mind

    Happy Reading 🙂

This is so easy for me. “I am the Messenger” by Markus Zusak. It is my favorite book.

  9. I recommended a classic favorite, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Check it out here:

  10. Excellent question—I often ask readers what their favourite genres are before I recommend a title, but I’ve managed to craft my “knee-jerk suggestion” for the sake of this prompt! 😉 http://thelitoverse.blogspot.ca/2012/04/booking-through-thursday-recommendation.html
