A while ago, I interviewed my readers for a change, and my final question was, “What question have I NOT asked at BTT that you’d love me to ask?” I got some great responses and will be picking out some of the questions from time to time to ask the rest of you. Like now.

Ted asks:

Have you ever used a book to instruct someone of something or is there anyone for whom you would like to do that? (I don’t mean a text book for a class, but a work of fiction or non-fiction that would get a certain message across either through plot or character). What is the book and what do you wish to impart?

    My most dearest a sweetest friend has battled cancer, I spent countless hours with her at MD anderson Willingly I wrapped my head with a scarf and we made light of the whole scenario or as much as we could without breaking into tears from fear. I organized Blood drives .. Constantly treating her to a “happy” a gift from the heart smething simple and silly like a pillowcase with out picture as besties on it you know things girls who care do for each other. A very sad thing has happened to our friendship. Our relationship parted because I could not carry her any longer. Not that I did not want to Because I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR HER> The weight of the worry was affecting me …My Life…and My Family I had to step back and practice self preservation. I kept in touch. and Great news She survived breast cancer Not too long after she received a full remission I had a little issue with a firiend of hers. I was told by my Girl in Pink that extremely personal medical information was being shared with her at walmart and she wanted to know why I had not told her this about me. I was angry I confided theis infor with my doc. I ask my girl in pink who told her. she would not tell me. TO THIS DAY SHE WILL NOT TELL ME THE NURSES NAME THAT SHARED MY BUSINESS> Its the only way NO ONE KNEW BUT MY DOC> I feel betrayed. I was so good to her for so very long gave so much of myself until I too was becoming sick and now I feel so betrayed she did not protect me as I did her. many many months past without and phone calls No texts no emails. until about a week ago….she called to tell me the cancer is back……..she told me that if anything happens to her I am to read Fire Fly Lane and that i will know what to do…that my message will be clear. Or dear I dont know what to do with the worry. I dont know what to do with my anger with her for betraying me but at the same time i cant not be there for her when she is calling on me. Do you think women take advantage of each others heart….do you see a pattern here with our friendship….can I trust her …or is it “can she trust me?…………
