  2. I always remember my mother reading Beatrice Potter’s “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” to me at a very young age. My mother read a huge number of stories to me (some of which she had made up herself on the spot!) but that’s the children’s story that always sticks out in my memory. Another simple but beautiful children’s story is “The Tale of Tom Kitten”.
