What’s the last book that made you spring to your feet, eager to spread the word and tell everyone how much you enjoyed it?
Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!
I loved ‘Running With Scissors’ by Augusten Burroughs.
I really enjoy his style of writing. Humourous but somehow sad at the same time… a lot like life!
I saw Augusten at a book signing and he is SUPER nice and such a unique spirit. Love him, love him, love him.
He has several books out there… including Dry, Magical Thinking, Sellevision…
If you haven’t read anything of his yet… I highly recommend you start with Running With Scissors.
I don’t have a review of it up on my blog yet… but I do have lots of other book reviews, if you do want to check them out:

The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh was very special
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz! Loved that book so much ❤
I’ve not had time to read a lot yet in April, but back in March I read at least three that I found worthy of good reviews: The Year After by Martin Davies, The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton and The Camera Fiend by E.W. Hornung.
