Too Much Information?

Suggested by Simon Thomas:

Have you ever been put off an author’s books after reading a biography of them? Or the reverse – a biography has made you love an author more?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

I realized that I kind of avoid author biographies. I don’t want to find out that the author is less admirable than I would like to think. 🙂

I rarely read author bios, beyond the blurbs at the end of most books. I can’t recall any bio or blurb that has put me off sufficiently that I haven’t wanted to read that author’s books.

  29. How exciting, it’s my question!
Haven’t blogged yet, despite being Saturday… will do it soooon.
