Holidays

It’s a holiday weekend here in the U.S., so let’s keep today’s question simple–What are you reading? Anything special? Any particularly juicy summer reading?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Booking through Thursday #1 and Thursday Thirteen!

Have a great Independence Day and great weekend everyone.

  15. I am currently (trying) to read “The Good Guy” by Dean Koontz. Work has been rather busy so that by the time I get home I just want to sit on the couch and do nothing. I plan on reading the new Odd Thomas book soon and a few others. I just have to get motivated to do so 🙂

  22. This isn’t nearly as funny as my Thursday Thirteen, but at least I’m talking about good books. Come on over and see what I’m keeping busy with!

Happy 4th to Americans and a belated Happy Canada Day to Canadians!

  27. I don’t have a book blog up yet — it was on the list to get done tonight but not sure I’m gonna get there now. I’ve got a list of reading to do that’s a mile long and growing, but I seem to be spending way too much time on the golf course to get enough reading done. One of my current reads is a really interesting alternate history by A.K. Kuyendall called Conspirator’s Odyssey: The Evolution of the Patron Saint. It’s a really interesting blend of history and fiction that keeps you guessing as to which is which all the way through.

Happy 4th of July and enjoy your holiday weekend!

  28. Better late than never (or if you’re there before it’s over, you’re on time) …

  34. No book blog for me either, but I just finished Barbara Walters’ Audition (on a biography kick lately, I don’t know why) and now I’m slogging my way through The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Very slow going, two separate storylines that aren’t quite related yet, and narrated by Death no less.
