Follow-up to last week’s question:

Do you keep all your unread books together, like books in a waiting room? Or are they scattered throughout your shelves, mingling like party-goers waiting for the host to come along?

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

And also–don’t forget, folks–sometimes WordPress’s spam filter seems to decide that a lot of perfectly valid answers are spam. I periodically check throughout the day for lost comments. But, PLEASE–if your comment doesn’t show, don’t post it four more times in the hopes that one of them will go through. I get very, very tired trying to sort out the duplicates (grin).

  17. This is my first attempt to participate in a BTT and such an appropriate question for me!! http://cherryblossommj.blogspot.com/2009/07/btt-tbr.html

  18. Letting unread books mingle with already-been-read ones? That’s unheard of!

  19. For the record, I shelve my unread books with my read ones. I bring them home from the bookstore, log them into my spreadsheet database, and then put them with their new friends. Then, when I’m ready to find a new book, I go and browse the shelves, just as if I were in a library. I occasionally skim the list of unread books to remind myself of what I have still waiting, but generally, the best of them don’t remain unread for long!

  20. Here’s my post, though it’s not very long.

  21. Here’s mine… So far it works, but I don’t know what will happen when I run out of shelf. And that’s not too far away…

  33. My books don’t stay unread long enough to pile up, but they are together. My keepers are all together in one bookshelf, also.
