Huh?

What’s your favorite book that nobody else has heard of? You know, not Little Women or Huckleberry Finn, not the latest best-seller . . . whether they’ve read them or not, everybody “knows” those books. I’m talking about the best book that, when you tell people that you love it, they go, “Huh? Never heard of it?”

And, folks–Becca was nice enough to nominate Booking Through Thursday for a Blogger’s Choice Award–while you’re here, why don’t you head over and vote for us, too. Because, a vote for BTT is a vote for all of us who play each week!

  34. I don’t have one of those. I guess that doesn’t really amaze me only because my reading consists mainly top and mid levels authors in some of the most popular genres. Tons of popular fiction. I’d love to find one of those gems and hopefully one day I’ll come across one. I’m usually the one going “Huh? Never heard of it?”

  35. Sorry it’s a day late, I have been away. It’s up at Rhinoa’s Ramblings

  36. This is a great question! We all have that great novel we are surprised that no one else has read, let alone loved.

  38. Hi Library Diva – you were definitely neither last _nor_ least

My first BTT for over a month and still late as usual!

    BTT – Huh?

  39. Long time no answer! Here’s my answer.

  40. Very late as I have been away but it was such a great question I had to answer it.

  41. This one seems a bit unfair. I mean, I read SF. Mostly obscure SF. I mean, looking for quirky, funny stuff among a quirky, fun genre – well.
