Do you have multiple copies of any of your books?
If so, why? Absent-mindedness? You love them that much? First Editions for the shelf, but paperbacks to read?
If not, why not? Not enough space? Not enough money? Too sensible to do something so foolish?

    No, I don’t have multiple copies. In fact, usually when I have finished a book I pass it on to another fellow reader or to PBS. I don’t tend to keep books for any length of time after I have read them.

    1. Yes.

    2. Various reasons (all I can think of at this time, may have forgotten some!)
    - first copy fell apart/falling apart, needed second copy
    - “real” copies of ARC versions (so author gets her royalties)
    - extra copy for lending
    - accident (forgot I already had a copy)
    - omnibus version of separate books, easier to read single volume
    - gifts
