E-volution

btt button

E-readers like the Kindle and iPad are sweeping the nation … do you have one? Do you like it? Do you find it changes your reading/buying habits? If you don’t have one, do you plan to?

(And yes, e-readers and e-books do come up periodically, and yes, we’ve had similar questions in the past, but things change so quickly … it’s worth revisiting.)

Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!

Don’t have an e-reader or iPad; interested in an iPad, but cannot see investing more in up-front for an e-reading device than what I spend on books in an entire year. Minus the cost of the device itself, I think it’s safe to say I’d (if only for the novelty) give some books a shot as digital reads. Comics are another factor, but different animal.

  7. To Buy an E-Reader or Not to Buy an E-Reader … that is MY question.
    and I need HELP!

  8. Good question. I’m always wondering if people who do own e-Readers ever buy print books!

    My BTT

    Happy reading, everyone! 😀

  9. Difficult question for me — I’m something of a purist, but I get their attraction…

I don’t have an e-reader unless you count the iPhone. However, the Kindle Fire has my attention.

  17. I don’t have an e-Reader and not sure if I want one – here’s my reasons

  18. This topic has indeed come up recently, but I think I came up with some new comments this time around.

  19. I read my Kinle when I travel. Full answer is posted.

  20. I wrote about this independently yesterday. I don’t own one and don’t foresee myself getting one anytime soon. They certainly seem to be controversial, though, and I talked a lot about that here at my blog: http://yourlibrarycard.blogspot.com/2011/11/whole-kindlenook-thing.html
