If you could get a sequel for any book, what would it be?
Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!
Basically, I’d like to see more stories by authors set in the continuity/world of their series–Harry Potter and Dragonlance most notably. Most of what I read is series stuff, so by virtue of being part of a series and if there’s not an official “final book,” then I already “know” there’ll be a sequel. In the case of say, Grisham, King, and Meltzer, their books seem to generally stand well as one-shot things; though it’s cool when subsequent books even have a throw-away line referencing an earlier book, establishing each as existing in a “shared universe,” even if protagonists and the specific premise of the book is in no way any kind of direct follow-up/continuation of something.
I would love to have a sequel to Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy)!! Ok, happy ending and so on, but after reading the whole serie and after all that fighting for Dimitri, I think the ending in Last Sacrifice was too fast. I want a story of Rose and Dimitri and their happiness. Don’t get me wrong – I know about Bloodlines and I will read it – but I want a story for Rose too ❤ Just to see what were we fighting for in 6 books 😉
And if you feel so inclined, I'd be grateful for a donation--but only if you want to!
