  19. “Big Red” by Jim Kjelgaard. I discovered owning books when the Scholastic Book Service came to my grade school and made ordering them easy and cheap. I was hooked not only on that book but on books.

    The first important book i bought was when I was 17 and it was “The Catch Trap” from Marion Zimmer Bradley.
