  1. Happy New Year everybody! I haven’t done this in a while but missed the fun of it.

  2. Read more science, chiefly. 🙂

  3. No resolutions, here…but to all a Happy New Year!!!

  5. I’ve got a couple, and they’re here.

  6. Hmmm… I didn’t know if I had any, but I guess I do:

  9. I have posted here: http://jackieisreading.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/btt-new-years-resolutions/ which is my first BTT response in a blog that is still very young. Excited for the new year!

  10. This is the first time I’m participating, which already was a resolution. 😛

  12. I’m tired of the fashion of book cover artwork that grabs attention. My resolution is to read only books with boring covers.

  13. I actually just posted about this a couple of days ago… My two big goals this year are to 1) start exploring the science fiction/fantasy genres and 2) to start reading more non-fiction since my reading of those books took a big hit last year.

  14. I have several things, I would like to resolve in regards to all things reading. Check out what my thoughts are for this week’s Booking Through Thursday.

  15. I don’t do resolutions but I signed up for some challenges:

  16. I sorta, kinda, almost talk about New Years’ Resolutions in this post from earlier this week!

  18. Newbie here. Thanks for this meme–I needed something to do with Thursdays on the blog. 🙂

    My resolutions here: http://www.jennasthilaire.com/2011/01/booking-through-thursday-resolutions.html

  19. I’ll continue to be spontaneous and not let challenges bog down my readings. I have a backbone of what I like to read but will leave the rest to my whim.

    Full answer is posted. 🙂

  20. My post’s up; http://comicreviewsbywalt.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/booking-through-thursday-any-new-years-reading-resolutions/

Using a “to-be-read” challenge to give a goal to keep me reading; adopting a character; aiming to catch up on some graphic novels, and of course, keep up with my usual comics reading and such.

This is my first ever post for Booking Through Thursday. Thanks for the great topic to start off the year!

  24. I already had a post about this. At the risk of sounding redundant to anyone who reads my blog–meaning I don’t want to post the same thing twice–I will just direct you to that original post.

  25. Sure do! I wrote about my resolutions here: http://christinamaria.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/revising-myself-in-2011/, but to make a long story short, I have two reading specific resolutions:

    1) Read 111 books as part of the Centurions of 2011 Challenge–and make sure that I read at least one professional teaching text a month and lots of YA lit the rest of the time. I made it to 96 in 2010–I’m excited to kick it up a notch.
    2) Take on the “Books I Should Have Reads in High School, But Didn’t” challenge over at http://www.danahuff.net/?p=1972. I’m planning to read 12–including the Illiad and the Odyssey, Don Quixote, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Bring it on!

  26. Happy 2011! Good luck to everyone on completing or keeping there resolutions!
