Browsing through my blog, I found a link to this post about the “Sorted Book Project.” Go read it. I’ll wait.
The idea is to take a few books and physically sort them in such a way that the titles make some kind of sense … something that I’ve never quite gotten around to doing and photographing, but which fascinates me.
What title/combinations can you come up with? (Bonus points if you actually assemble the books and photograph them, like in the original post.)
Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!
Are we having two different BTT posts this thursday?

[…] or has a summery feel to it. I don’t really have an answer for that one. But the second question is: Browsing through my blog, I found a link to this post about the “Sorted Book Project.” Go […]
I think some participants are misreading the question: it’s not asking how we have books sorted on the shelves. It’s asking up to put certain book titles together. If you click through the link there will be some examples that show what they mean.
I thought this was a lot of fun! I could play with it all day if I had time. But here’s what I came up with:

This was fun. Like Barbara, I could send all day with this thinking up new ideas. Here is mine.

I don’t have time to do this today, so maybe someone can steal this idea and set up a photo. For an endcap in a big bookstore a friend and I found all the fiction titles that had a body part in the title and displayed them in rough anatomical order. Some titles I can remember: Audrey Hepburn’s Neck, Footsucker, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Wolf by the Ears, Girl with Curious Hair, Cheek by Jowl, Skinny Legs and All, and many more.
