Suggested by Janet:
The opposite of last week’s question: “What’s the best ‘worst’ book you’ve ever read — the one you like despite some negative reviews or features?”
Don’t forget to leave a link to your actual response (so people don’t have to go searching for it) in the comments—or if you prefer, leave your answers in the comments themselves!
Honestly I cannot think of a single book which was said to be bad but I liked it. I can think of a lot of movies though 🙂
I think it would be interesting to visit other participants and see what their lists are, it might remind me of something.
Ditto with Violet. It goes back to my preference of not reading reviews, therefore not knowing what the rest of the world is reading… good or bad books. 🙂
I thought of one!
I had to go back to 1993 in order to answer this one 🙂
[…] Thursday so time for another Booking Through Thursday meme. and this week Deb is really testing the brain cells by asking the opposite of last week’s question: […]
Hi everyone, missed this for a few weeks, glad to be back!
Hope you’re all having a good week!
Lol, yes I choose a bad book that i almost choose as my worst ever book last week. Now that is weird.
Here is what I wrote:
A very difficult question that raises more questions…
Have a great Thursday!
Here’s mine! http://www.bostonbibliophile.com/2009/03/suggested-by-janet-opposite-of-last.html
I’ve just found this site 2days ago n I think it’s really an interesting community.
I was planning to join this week question…but it’s really hard to answer.
I never read any reviews before buying books, I just go along with my insting…so I don’t know which books are considered to be bad.
Maybe I’ll find something after reading yours
My post is up! Happy BTT everyone!
Here is mine: http://barneysbookblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/booking-through-thursday_26.html
I played too; mine’s a double-round, as I missed last week’s participation…
Happy Reading, everybody!
Oops…here’s the link:
I played … I couldn’t think of one, though.
Mine is up not really exciting but here it is:
My answer is up. This is a difficult question to answer.
The book I picked is not even bad, but critics thought so.
Everyone has their own opinions, and tastes differ. But my post is on The Burton Review
This was a hard one! My answer is here:

This is the hardest question so far!
Here’s my answer:
Are these questions getting harder or am I just getting dumber? Don’t answer that. Anyway, here’s my attempt:
This was hard to think of, but I came up with a few answers here.
Mine will surprise you! You can find it here:

Definitely hard, but I have an answer — and it’s not Twilight (though yes, I like that too)!
Mine is up! This question was harder than last weeks.
This was hard, until I did a search:
I did an author because I could not think of one specific book – I’ll probably think of one in a day or two though. http://myreadingroom-crystal.blogspot.com/2009/03/booking-through-thursday.html
I cheated a little 🙂
I am not posting a Booking Through Thursday this week. I can’t think of any book that was a worst but good book. I have read several I personally didn’t like but the writing wasn’t bad, I just didn’t like the genre. Have a great day!!
Mine is here, http://zetor-mogsblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/booking-through-thursday_26.html
I actually couldn’t think of one (it’s nice to see that other’s couldn’t either LOL) but I still posted the Q on my blog: http://themommyrambles.blogspot.com/2009/03/booking-through-thursday-best-worst.html
This was a tough one, but I had blogged about this book before:
This was a hard one.
I’m new to this…so go easy on me.

I have posted my answer here.
Mine was short. I’ve got the stomach flu, so I’m not feeling smart and witty… lol.
A Sick Little Gargoyle
Okie Doke – Mine is up now.
Here’s my answer
It was easy for me. I have many books that I know aren’t very good, but that I love anyway. Here’s a brief profile of two of them:
My best “worst” book is here!
I didn’t really have an answer for this one, so –since I still wanted to play along in BTT this week– I used an older post, from last year, and answered that instead: The End.
I wanted to say Twilight, but in the end I found one more original
Here’s a few I thought of.
My post is up.

My answer is up!
Mine is up. Yikes, I can’t believe I did that…
I tend not to read bad reviews of books I liked very often, so I’m just guessing here: http://personal.poppyphotodesign.com/2009/03/26/booking-through-thursday-2/
Mine is up ..

hehehe I finally come out with something, here :
Stumped me on this one!
An interesting question:
I was out of town yesterday, but better late than never! My post is here: http://www.acrossthepage.net/?p=2778
Thanks for choosing my question. I confess I found it difficult too!
Booking Through Thursday on Friday – for me, this was a question about guilty pleasures.
These are difficult topics and take some thought!
Here’s mine. I know it took me a while to think of one.
Lord of the Flies was required reading when I was in 8th grade and I hated it! I know it is considered a classic and I really should go back and read it with adult eyes, but I just haven’t been able to do that yet.
I also really liked Harry Potter, the first two in the series anyway, that’s all I’ve read so far. I actually read the books because I had some friends and family members tell me how horrible they thought they were. I knew that they were very popular and that I would need a reason WHY I wouldn’t let my kids read them when they brought them home. After the first book, I knew that I felt differently than my friends and that those books would be allowed in my house. At least when they got old enough not to be scared of them
