Hello! Here’s mine!
I do take family and friends recommendations and check them out to see if I might like them. My largest influence are my book clubs, where we vote on a book to read for the month and discuss. I have come across some really good books this way that I normally would not have read if left to my own devices.
I, also, like to check out the book review section of all magazines I read.

If someone tells me a book is good, I’ll get a sample of the book on my e-reader and see for myself if I like it or not. If they hated a book, I still might get a sample and see if I like it or not. It wouldn’t automatically put me off a book, particularly if I’d seen good reviews about it elsewhere.
